About
A City on a Hill...
God gave us all gifts and talents. They are all different, some may even seem unimportant, but they are all from Him. He then gave us all one simple command - use the talents He gave us. Maybe a talent seems small, maybe it seems large, but that's not the point; our talents are to be used for the Glory of God.
Historically, a sea fortress was built to protect a harbor. It provided a secure place where ships could take on supplies and trade goods, make repairs, and rest their crews in preparation for putting out to sea. The missions of these ships could not succeed without a safe place to prepare, equip, and ultimately deploy across the ocean.
Sea Fortress Publishing was born out of a desire to use my God-given talents to make an impact on the world and to help others use their talents by providing editing, formatting, and audiobook services to bring stories and other content to life.
Statement of Beliefs:
There is one God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-17; Matt. 3:16-17; 1 Cor. 8:6)
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It contains the foundation for all things pertaining to life and godliness. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Heb. 4:12)
Salvation is through Christ alone, by faith alone, according to God’s gift of grace. (Eph. 2:1-10; Rom. 10:9; John 1:12-13; Eph. 2:12-13)
Good works are the result of the Holy Spirit’s work in men’s hearts and are a demonstration of faith in Christ. (Jas. 2:14,17; Heb. 13:20-21; Phil. 2:12-13)
Marriage is to be a lifelong commitment under God between one man and one woman. (Rom. 7:2-3; 1 Cor. 7:10-11; Rom. 1:26-27; Lev. 18:22)
Humans have been made in the image of God and are the only creations with souls. Needless taking of innocent human life brings the highest judgment from God. (Gen. 9:6; Ps. 139:14-16; Gen. 1:26-27; Gen. 2:7; Gen. 4:9-11)
Zachariah M. Ulrich
Author/Editor
Zach has been writing since elementary school. He always had a new story kindling in his imagination. During his high school years, his interest in military history helped fuel what eventually became his first novel: The Eagle's Legacy.
He continued to pursue his love of history in college, attending the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where he earned a degree as a history teacher. He was able to bring his first work to print just before graduation.
Now holding a master’s degree in history from Liberty University, Zach continues to write, producing two additional novels: The Warrior’s Heart and The Wildcat’s Roar. Both were written to bring real history to life through the eyes of fictional, but relatable characters. As a teacher and writer, Zach hopes to demonstrate God’s Sovereignty in the pages of history. Ordinary people are often used mightily by God as He works out His plan in history.
